Behind the scenes of the Model 98

When creating the Model 98, we teamed up with ATP professional Thai-Son Kwiatkowski and the team at LNRC in North Carolina.

Having competed his entire career with a 98 sq in racket, Thai-Son brought invaluable experience and a deep understanding of what a true performance frame should deliver. From early prototypes to final refinements, he worked closely with our design team — testing, adjusting, and fine-tuning every detail of the racket’s balance, response, and feel.

Model 98 Pro 18x19 (310g)

The vision behind the Model 98 Pro 18x19 310g was clear: create a true pro-grade racket built for high-level performance. We focused on delivering exceptional raw feel, precise control, and added power when it matters most. The result is a frame that rewards confident swings and gives advanced players the responsiveness and stability they demand.

Model 98 S 16x19 (305g)

With the Model 98 S 16x19, our goal was different. We set out to design a spin-oriented power frame in a 98 sq in head size. Built for aggressive players, this racket generates heavy spin and easy power while maintaining impressive comfort. It’s explosive, dynamic, and designed to deliver maximum performance on every swing.

Both frames share the same mold but have different layups, string patterns and weight.
